Thanks to the footie, I've now what is known as a common cold. The flu jab and covid boosters do not protect you, the world is dooooomed.

Yeh so had literally zero come down from my 2nd jab, not even achy arm.

Hard as ****

I've had one for a couple of weeks now but that is due to getting too cold walking the little fooker .

I caught it through getting too cold, stupid part is I never felt cold at all at the football, it was obviously colder than I had realised. I didn't wear a coat, but there was no rain and just felt I was wrapped up warm enough, weird.

Djokovic has more protection from a natural infection than people with two or even three jabs.

Just another bunch of politicians trying to stay in favour with the population rather than rely on facts and then being honest about them.

I'm no Djokovic fan and overall I think Australia have handled the pandemic very well. I think they got this one wrong and I think the leaders know its wrong. They also know if they let this one slide then it makes moving forward hard work for them so it's easier just to kick him out.

Modern politics at its best.

Does he have more natural protection?

mistakes in application and also some dubious timing/comments on his infection/timings.

Surely a simple antibody test would have been the answer? I'm sure Djokovic would have paid for it.

I don't agree mate. I think he purposely tried to navigate the system. Yeah he may have been ill advised by the Australians in some way, shape or form, BUT we all know, everyone of us that Australia operates a tough regime in regards to covid, so what didn't he know about that. He knew alright, as his brother was asked in the press conference, why was he at the other events, IF he knew he had covid, yet he conveniently knew he had covid as an excuse to bypass the system, oh yeah. Correct decision to deport him as far has I'm concerned.

How so?

In terms of this debacle, he lied on his visa application, not declaring where he’d been before coming to Aus. He stated he had COVID in Dec but was pictured in the days after at events, unmasked. The Aus authorities made a hash of it, but their basic premise for ****ing him off was right imo. He seemed to think he could do as he liked, with impunity.
