He's mobile and can pass long and short... On the ground too... He also got the odd goal in him. It's probably about a promotion push he's ideal
Not the same type willock likes to run at the defence he's being asked to just clean up for jonjo. Nobody is allowed to play in there. Just jonjo he's dictating everything on the pitch
Cantwell is exactly like Willock. People all clamouring for us to sign Willock purely on the goals when anyone watching him could see he was bang average. The same was said about Kenedy
I don’t know what’s happened to Willock mate I really don’t. I think he’s just lost his way. Howe doesn’t seem to rate him. Unless he is carrying an injury?
Yes I suspect this is it. The problem with having Shelvey in the team is the player(s) next to him end up doing part of his job.
No one's much more mobile and has a far superior passing ability and the others more of a box to box. Simple fact is Cantwell is better than all our cms and he'll be ideal for a promotion push Shelvey needs to go now
Your right. Buy them goals would be important and that’s somehow been taken away. So he’s become a bit of a passenger. I seem to remember Arsenal fans saying they couldn’t believe his form for us. That he wasn’t all that.
Pre season I said willock and Gallagher would be great. I think willock and Cantwell would work better than with anyone with jonjo. If not Joelinton and Cantwell or willock. They won't do anything different though they'll keep playing shelvey
Yes. That's exactly what most of you lot we're saying about Willock. Obviously as anyone would be superior to Shelvey
Shelvey has 2 goals and 3 assists in his last 42 games for us. So he isn’t even creating or scoring that many chances.
DPP hates shelvey. He's dictating everything. If anyone wins the ball he demands it and if that's not happening he's being ran past by the entire midfield.
I still don’t mind the idea of Cantwell. In the grand scheme of trying to persuade players who are better than what we have to join this **** show, I think he’s a chance worth taking. Plus he plays wide right most of the time and we need someone there anyway. I think as a lone signing, he ain’t going to turn our season around but as part of a batch of say 6 or 7 that we need I think he would increase our options. Maybe we can get him back on track. He might actually come, most won’t.
I still don't understand why the last manager or the latest one have played the side that did so well last season. So they even look? Do they even put two and two together? Or do they read a coaching manual and forget to any common sense
