I'm speechless at the lack of positional sense from Wood yesterday. I can't fathom how a target man was allowed to constantly drift to the flanks and sit really deep without the manager rectifying this. If the idea is getting a couple of wingbacks in to whip crosses in from deep then a target man needs to be central and in position to either head or shoot towards goal or win a header for a knockdown for a central midfielder to have a shot. This wasn't even schoolboy errors both yesterday and last week. Even a ****ing primary school PE teacher would have spotted this ****. It is very worrying.
Howe is proving to be a huge mistake, but I don't think anyone thought it could get worse myself included. He's getting nothing right, he's removed the wrong players in willock and Almiron and he's bought someone big and slow up front. If Watford draw with Burnley and Norwich rand we beat Leeds we might have a chance, but tbh I think Watford will win both games. Eddie howe should be sacked if we lose to Leeds.. Howe was brought in because everyone believed Bruce was the problem, but Howe has found a way to make it worse while also sticking with the likes of lacelles and jonjo. We've gone down without either Bruce or Howe playing the side that did so well for the last 11 games of the previous season.. So how well educated are they? The club is rotted to the core. Not including Trippier in this, but I wouldn't care if the rest were just dumped on the dole and we started from scratch. I can forgive a lack of talent I can't forgive a lack of bottle or a lack of effort.
He's a good player but other areas were more lacking. It's the clubs position in Jan that made it impossible to get the players they wanted and Howe failed to get the club out the mess. He's had what 1 win in 10 and lost at home to Cambridge! He's now wasted 37ms Cms!! Cms... Thats all that was ever required
None of it makes sense - not a damn bit of it. From the Get go. From the business view of completing the purchase when they did, the no manager lined up, the no DOF lined up. The no new players lined up. It's just a cluster **** of errors where it appears the heart ruled the head.
