Only 1..............and they still say they are a 'big club'. Oh and its not me making it up either. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/2011...2281670_2491691?WT.mc_id=st-offer_welcomepage
Surely we should be increasing them to price even more of the general public out of attending football matches!
No, just maybe now after following our lead again, your fans will stop telling us we can only get fans by offering cheap tickets. Oh and also stop pretending your such a big club. Even at 4th top, you can't sell out either. It's a sign of the economic times not size of club.
The "size" of the club makes no difference to me whatsoever. I have never once bragged about us being a big club, and have always said it means **** all. It's something that has been thought up by Newcastle and Sunderland fans that have nothing better to do with their time other than argue about stuff and who constantly need to reassure themselves they support the better club. If Newcastle were the smallest club on the planet, I'd still support them, just as you would Sunderland.
Biggeordiedave Some people are Newcastle haters as much as they are Sunderland supporters (and vice versa) it's pointless trying to be reasonable.
Just looking at Barcelona, their cheapest ticket is €34 but thats up in the gods, next to the pitch its between €74 and €107. https://entrades.fcbarcelona.cat/Ti...a&aforo=&idCompeticion=001&jornada=11&lang=en their average attendance this season it 70% only had 5 home games so that will go up and 70% is still 69,000 fans, but most spanish teams are in the 50%-60% mark for average attendance. We have 77.3% Newcastle have 88% but hopefully the Bent factor may push that average up a bit, but its still not that bad considering other clubs around Europe. http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/PR/attend.html
The Germans have got it right in some respects. Big stadiums, cheap tickets. Shame about the fences and the distance between pitch and fans etc.
Laughing at a club for reducing prices for the paying fans really cest, didnt even think you could be that stupid
A little bit gutted to be honest. If anything happens to Krul, we've only got Rob Elliot and he hasn't impressed me so far. We've got Soderberg and Jak Alnwick (Ben's brother) but I don't think they're quite ready for the league yet. But Harper wants first team football at this late stage of his career and there's not a chance of that with the form Krul is in. He's been a loyal servant to the club for nearly 20 years, but like I say, we can't not play Krul at the minute. Of all the things that have gone wrong at Newcastle over the years, we've always had great goalkeepers!
