I get what you were meaning, You just used the wrong term to describe it. As I've mentioned - Tyre kicker is someone who kicks tyres on forecourt - they usually have **** credit, no money and a Nissan Almira. They will waste a salesman's time haggling over something trivial like a tank of fuel then **** off.
That’s what I detailed in my response. They don’t have their own money (AS and MG) they are using others. They are making false claims about the future. When they can’t get the present right. They have made some horrific mistakes. They need to get results both on and off the pitch. And they need to make ruthless decisions when the turn is right. Not this delay ****e. If in 4 weeks time we have won a game. Then I will take it all back but I currently can’t see it.
He is useless mate. Fraser is another leech on our club. A pathetic player: who doesn’t even acknowledge the fans.
He’s a ****ing cart horse. You can see immediately it’s a terrible purchase. Everything the owners are doing is wrong, apart from trippier (to a point). Prioritising the wrong transfers, not hiring the right people, paying over the odds for garbage because they stuck with Nickson and handed Hammond a golden ticket.
Remind me again how many goals and assists he has since he joined us. Just for the laughs and giggles.
I agree mate but unfortunately a lot don’t because they seem to like where we are and what we are being served up.
I wish there was a big red button we could just press whereby the entire squad gets flushed and we start again. Need to sell 10 players at least and replace all of them with PL players, under a new manager.
Because you’re wrong on so many points. I go to the matches and watch the team and have done for years. And we are improving and playing better than under Bruce. The blame is primarily Ashley’s. He has under invested in the players and the Club for years. That is not going to be undone in 3 months. You would have to be the idiot that others are next to to think otherwise. The squad is bad. The players do have a losing mentality. But blame Ashley not the new owners or Howe. As much as Shelvey and Longstaff leave a lot to be desired, name a better pairing available today based on current form? We aren’t even half way through the first transfer window yet and the toys are being tossed out of the prams. We need so many players in so many positions it is unbelievable. In a transfer window you don’t work out the players you intend to buy AND then only buy them in the order of need. You identify players you need and buy those you can get in whatever order you manage to get them. Trippier is an excellent buy in a position that needed improving. I’m not going to criticise Howe or the Club for buying him just because we need a CB more. Absolutely ludicrous logic. We are trying to get at least one CB. We are trying to get CM players and we are looking to try and get another attacker and probably a LB as well. It’s not easy and was never going to be. Come to Newcastle we can pay a lot but are amongst the favourites to go down. What? You don’t want to take the risk? Some posters can’t even wait until the transfer window is over before whining because that’s what it is. Give the new owners and Howe a chance. As for the Club/New Owners making shambolic decisions, name one. You can’t because you don’t know under what circumstances any of the decisions have been made. And we aren’t the “laughing stock “ of football. Why? Because it is some nonsensical cliched expression which means nothing whatsoever used by some half wits and the media. Rant over. No apology will be offered to anyone offended as if you are then you simply need to grow up.
Your post is all wrong. We ain’t improved. The manager is doing ****. Our signings are not good. We have no DoF. We ain’t changed our staffing hardly at all. There is nothing currently any better than before hand.
I’ve a feeling Staveleys time as “face” of the ownership may be a short lived one. Saudis won’t be happy with the current situation, I think they’ll push her aside and bring in their own people in time.
The facts are somewhat damning. We might have played well against a crap Man U team, but who hasn't? This Watford team today was dire, and we couldn't keep shut against them.
