Agreed. We just need a complete nee midfield. Shelvey as you and many others have pointed out is the main problem. In fact your also right if you take him out and Lascelles. And replace them both then I believe we may have enough to survive. Shelvey is a shockingly bad cm in the modern game. I can’t think of any other players like him in the top levels of world football. And Lascelles is the same. He’s just to slow. To poor and can’t read a game.
