Wrong thread. This is the crap on Arsenal from a great height for being a bunch of whiny spineless cowards thread.
1 case of COVID and game gets called off, dangerous precedent being set. Farcical decision. Problem with players going AFCON, don’t sign these players then. Problem with suspension, don’t sign Xhaka! Struggling with international call ups and injuries, don’t let two players go out on loan in the Jan transfer window!
Sorry if it's been said (been on the road for hours) but however they decide criteria for who is ineligible, players sent on loan or suspended SHOULD NOT COUNT. The idea that Arse might have qualified for postponement because a player is suspended is a disgrace.
With the results today I am about the postponement. Opportunity to stuff the Goons, pull away from Man Utd, and reduce the gap on Chelsky to 7 pts prior to our game there,
WIthout any sense of how to write rules that benefit the game, without any serious belief that the rules, whatever they happen to be, deserve to be enforced conscientiously, and without anything resembling backbones, it's one muddle after another decided by a wish to placate the largest fan base concerned...which works out badly for Spurs, since two of the other five bigger clubs hate Spurs more than any other club, the other three are or recently were rivals for top four positions, and Spurs are sixth our of the six in popularity.
You lot just don't get it do you (or want to). If you have 1 or 10 Covid cases is irrelevant if the 1 (or10) stops you having 14 fit first team squad players available.
No Diego . It is you that doesn’t get it. It’s the suspensions and loans that stop them having enough players
But the majority of their absentees aren’t covid cases. 2 of them are players they chose to loan out this week, 1 is suspended for a red card and the others are at a major international tournament or footballing injuries.
Like i said, you just don't get it. The suspensions, loans and missing players are nothing to do with it, th Covid case/cases have stopped them having 14 players
No mate, it's taken them below the 14 required players. What's so hard to understand or are you just being bitter?
Yes bitter because it means you can potentially benefit from having someone sent off! That is indefensible.
