My take...start with crap and you have crap. Anyone who expected him to turn crap players into gold will be disappointed (except the new Joelinton, what a change!). He's signed 2 players; I'll judge him after the window. I think Trippier and Wood are a good start. The problem is that players don't want to come right now if they think they'll get better offers closer to the end of the window. I expect things to move along as the window closes. I remember most saying that getting relegated isn't the worst thing. That tune changed. I live in hope, but expect to go down.

 

We are now down. I think I’m ready to accept it.

And I’m just going to watch what the owners and Howe do now. I am very interested to hear what they say.
