Lots of rumours going around at the minute that Sven has been sacked

It looks like there is something in it as Ian Stringer is at the training ground

 

I wouldnt believe the papers yet but there does look like there is something in the story

That and some ESPN journo, Bert and some bloggers. Knee-jerk if its true IMO. But remember when the Thai's sacked Sousa, they had his replacement already lined up - wouldn't be surprised if that was the case now.

I dont think Sven should be sacked and if he has then that could be our season down the toilet. Who do you get in and before anyone says it MON isnt going to come back

Stringer said when he spoke to his contacts they wouldnt admit hes been sacked but they wouldnt deny it. I sure even way the club will let us know whats happening soon as i doubt they would leave Stringer standing out there as they seem to have a good relationship now

 

Just shows you how long a week actually is in football. Your lot was all over the Forest boards giving us **** about mclaren etc. Now you have no manager and got toasted at home on saturday. Hard luck Fester, it was a nice dream while it lasted. Welcome back to reality.

 

In all seriousness, this is a ridiculous decision if true.

 

Were still in a good position with a very good squad. Sven is a very good manager now doubt but maybe his motivational style isnt suited to this league

 

Collymore now works for talkSport so he might know a few people. Two of the 'reported' favorites are O'neill and Hughes. If we could get either they would be good but that is unrealistic.

SSN say there has been/is a meeting discussing his future. If the outcome is to keep him though, isn't that a bit disrespectful?

He's hardly had any time this season... Like my team (Liverpool) the players need to gel.

The the championship mate managers dont get long. Sven has spent around 20M on transfer and loan fees since he came in and that is unheard of in this divison so people expect instant sucess. I am more then willing to keep Sven and give the team at least til Christmas to see if he can get us firing on all cylinders
