No I was far too optimistic, you won’t catch me doing that again. Plum guessed higher but it’s even gone past his guess now. Rule is if it gets to 1904 pages the sale is effectively never happening and Kemps and Balkan share the prize Currently though Plum is the most accurate assessor for club sale timescales
I hope so but given his recent statement to Radio Humberside his past coments re focusing on the footballing side are begiining to have the appearance of a thin veneer about to crack. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/we-need-clarity-hull-city-6495881
If we're in the hands of the EFL I wouldn't be surprised if it took weeks rather than days. Every time a query is raised it's back to the interested parties, addressed, back to EFL and on the agenda for the next meeting. I can't see why the EFL would treat this deal as a priority.
I'm sure if Baz needed to clarify anything before publishing he could verify with Acun or his representatives.
Why rehash and publish Burnsy little 'update' within 20 mins flat on Monday? I'm sure Baz can make a call but whether it's answered or not....
If it falls through, it falls through! I personally don’t think it will, but every time I click on this thread, thinking there’s something new happening that’s interesting, it’s the same ****, from the same people: “How long do we have to wait?” “The EFL will take forever.” “It’s fallen through, but they’re not telling us anything.” Please just give it a rest!
Genuine question to all those ITK that were claiming done deal back in November What are your thoughts now? Were your sources on the windup?
Nope. I don't have that kind of relationship with this bloke. Not that he isn't a nice guy, just not somebody I would share banter with. I was told it was done. I was then subsequently told that he meant the sale had been agreed and handed over to legal. So what he really meant was that the financial terms had been agreed. Admittedly, the initial message I got was "Deal done, relax". I'm not up on legal stuff, but he explained that there wasn't anything that would hold up the deal from there on in (though this was before Covid properly kicked in again). As it turned out, there were a couple of things that needed clarifying, but nothing major and it was sorted within a matter of days. It was on me for posting that it was done, but to me, it was/is and I was reflecting the level of confidence there was. I was kept up to date with the process, which didn't seem nearly as complicated as I thought it would be, though he was probably putting in non legal speak for me.
Things can and obviously did change.... Not sure why everyone is obsessed by it. I learnt my lesson and post hardly anything I'm told Now
