Never got any service. Chelsea spent most of the game going sideways and backwards, or giving the ball away. Lukaku was anonymous, but it was hardly his fault.
Exactly - the very few balls played up to him were very poor. Every time he made a run into space he was ignored. I imagine he’s a tad unhappy with his teammates!!
Same here. With Watford’s week of fixtures if they can get a win today then 4 points minimum from the other two it’ll make a nice gap to Newcastle. If the points get shared around more then it’s good for Newcastle unfortunately
Pleased for Norwich. Granted, like their win against us, I think it's nothing more than false hope that they've been given. But that's better than nothing. And who knows, maybe I'm wrong - if they were to follow this up by beating Watford and Palace...
No. Not even on the list with the bookies: https://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/everton/next-permanent-manager
If Rafa was to go (whether now, or in the near future), I wonder what Newcastle and their fans will feel about it. I think it's pretty clear that if the takeover had happened earlier (or Rafa had still been unemployed), then he would have been the favourite of both the fans and the ownership to replace Bruce. Instead they have Howe, who could barely have done any worse and whom many Newcastle fans didn't seem to want from the start. I'm not suggesting that Newcastle will suddenly go out and sack Eddie so soon. Or that he won't keep them up. But I'm sure that people, in particular fans, would begin to discuss Rafa's sudden availability.
Sign him back! Amazing that with all the money Villa have spent that they sit below us in the league!
dont think theres much chance that it finishes like that. they look great with coutinho, will be a good signing for them.
The point it more that it is pretty embarrassing that they sit below us now. Indeed that they are even close to us given what they keep shelling out year after year
