I’m doing the stadium tour on Saturday. Does anyone know if any of the places to eat and drink will be open on non match days? If not anyone recommend anywhere near that does decent food and beers (not too pricey). Due to having a young family I haven’t been able to go much the last few years but I have a few games booked up coming up so just wanted to find a good destination!
Have you thought about the Corner Pin ? Newly opened, quirky interiors serves food , not been myself but worth a look and right next to the stadium
Avoid the Gilpins Bell. A mate of mine settled down to enjoy a bangers and mash meal in there, looked down at the floor and saw a couple of mice dancing around his shoes.
Corner Pin, newly opened? Has it been renovated or something? We spent many a happy night in there back in the day after a good win. It was very old & quite quaint as I recall. The words 'quirky interiors' probably means not a shred of the old character left in the place! Mind you, its 50 years or so since I was last in there so it may have turned into a dump for all I know hence the need to renovate. My memories are of it being packed out and lots of singing. Happy days ............
I remember having a cheese roll in there before it closed ,had to dip it in my beer to choke it down , it was a bit shabby at the end
That looks horrible & not remotely how I remember it apart from the position (on the corner)! I know I'm old fashioned but I feel if your going to renovate at least do it tastefully . Thanks for posting pics Alfie. So long since I've been down to Tottenham... COYS
Would he sell me one of those Japanese talking dogs ? Ideal for me when I come home from the pub and Mrs Conn has a cob on
