Yeah that's bad news He had Covid, then Malaria, then Covid again Man has looked a shell of his former self. Hope he makes a full recovery, but this looks like it could be the beginning of the end for him
1 suspended, 2 injuries, 4 at ACON (one arsenal refuse to play anyway) and 3 covid cases. Rough but a farce to postpone it. We will have 4 games in hand ffs when this is called off. Burnley away was called off cos of snow, we asked for the Brighton games to be postponed, Leicester asked for a game to be postponed and now Arsenal. We will end up playing 2 games a week to catch up and have all the problems that involves. But because the league did not make anything clear to begin with teams were always going to push their luck. We had with Palace on Boxing day. ****ers begged for a postponement and when refused named a full strength team with a weakened bench.
Apparently we have Cedric, Saka, Tomiyasu, Smith Rowe out injured As well as 3 covid and 4 at AFOCN As I say, I'm not a fan of postponements. But there have been 20 games postponed now, so teams have ****ed the whole level playing field thing with this. It's made a mess of the fixture list. But I can see why Arsenal don't want to put themselves at a disadvantage.
Gonna get ugly I think...we'll kick off cos of being forced to play twice a week to make up the 4 games in hand. We've got 1 covid case and 4 injuries (Dier, Son, Romero and Bergwijn) do the real difference in the ACON...(known about all season) and the red card suspension. I get why Arsenal are doing it but it's wrong imo. If you don't want to lose players to ACON don't sign them...they have known about it and should have prepared for it). Not that what I think means anything...it's as good as postponed cos no way did arsenal apply without discussing it with the Premier league behind the scenes
As I say, I ain't gonna sit here and defend it because I don't agree with it. But the rule has to apply to all clubs. If one does it, then all are entitled to the same provision.
You've loaned out 2 players this window THIS WINDOW knowing you were losing 4 to the ACON and that Covid was a possibility...it just gets worse
Loaning out AMN without getting a replacement first was a dumb move. Not sure who the other loanee is you're referring to ? As for injury and covid, can't really odds that. Anyway, I'd rather we embarrassed you with our youth team anyway
Surprised United never went for Potter...can only imagine what he'd achieve with very good players. Not surprised we didn't go for him in the summer...we make **** decisions
Their football is excellent to watch...they just can't finish. He's a new version of Pochettino imho. Players respond to him want to play for him and has a great philosophy of how football should be played.
I reckon he'd flop, the egos at Utd are not gonna allow a young up and comer to burst in and work wonders. Need some of their dregs to **** off before they get anywhere.
