The Huntingdon bumper should be one for the ladies with Butch taking on Hunky.

Meanwhile the Chatteris Fen Juvenile Hurdle (past winners include Afsoun and Sceau Royal) looks a nice race and the 3 at the head of the market, Kotmask, Parliament Hill and Rewired all look decent sorts. I thought Parliament Hill, in particular, jumped very well on debut and already looked pretty professional so he gets a tentative nod.

One of the best bred horses in training making his bow in that event - Propelled.

The 4YO son of Kapgarde (sire of A Plus Tard, Clan Des Obeaux and Fakir D'oudaries amongst others) is out of Polly Peachum, what a lovely name for a dam by the way, who was a 4 time winner at Listed level for the forum's favourite trainer and also finished runner-up in the Mares Hurdle at the Festival. Furthermore, Polly Peachum's dam is a full-sister to Denman.

The yards current form though tempers a lot of the enthuiasm re this one. Now just 2/29 in 2022. Incidentally, going off on a tangent old boy Alan King woeful in 2022 as well - thus far 0/20.

Propelled though is most deffo a very, very exciting recruit and it will be Fascinating, with a capital 'F', to see how he gets on.

Will Nico de Boinville be “propelled” to victory by Propelled - one for the regular readers to ponder

Won 15/8, in a race that was for the most part a dawdle and, inevitably, turned into a sprint finish

Yes, indeed. The wind surgery he had certainly was successful.
