    I can count several:

    When Cantona retired
    When Beckham left
    When Schmeichel Left
    When Keane Left
    When Ronaldo Left
    When Abramovich bought Chelsea
When Arsenal won the double in 1998
When Liverpool won 4 1 at Old Trafford
When Newcastle beat them 5 0
When Chelsea beat them 5 0
When Arsenal won the title at Old Trafford
When the Glazers bought the club

  2. Well, now you can add to that list the following:-

"When City had the ability to buy which ever player they want or need to achieve glory at any cost."

My very strong feeling is, however, that, this time, your dominance really is over <ok>

Are you also predicting City to be next European Champions based on the evidence that Barca put 2 past us on a neautral ground where as City have put 6 past us at home?

You could also add to that list 'when United were 3 nil down at half time to Spurs' <ok>

Even stronger than 2006 when our debt burden was £300 million higher, Chelsea had just won the PL twice in a row and had the ability to buy which ever player they wanted or needed to achieve glory at any cost, we'd finished bottom of our CL group and we'd just sold Van Nistelrooy to Real? Really?

    Really?

  6. Listen, I really do hope you manage to find a way to pull it off this season, I really do. I hate what the Arab money is doing to the EPL, and I would much rather you top the league than either Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal.

But (and I really am not wumming when I say this) I simply cannot see it happening.

Right now I can't see it happening either. But then I also couldn't see it happening in October 2006 or October 2008 when Chelsea were rampant and we were stuttering. So here's hoping history repeats itself <ok>

Again, media circus, though it still must be fkn killing you as you are going on and on, two threads about pretty much the same thing.

Let it go man, one game, I think it is the way in which you were outclassed, Ciy were better 11 v 11 and were going to add a second before Evans saw red preventing Balotelli from scoring. United played well for 20 minutes, thats all, after that city began to impose themselves.

All the wrong estimations of City, UIR at the top of that list, and look, they totally outclassed ye, granted you wouldn't expect to score lots with 10 men, but you would not have expected to be so easily contained and beaten. Maybe now UIR and some others can see that City are a very good side and even with both teams playing at the top of their game, I can only see 1 winner, their movement yesterday was not of this league

  10. It was the clinical finishing that most impressed me.

But, then again, with the number of quality strikers they have at their disposal, you can understand why. Training sessions must be so competitive at City!

It's impossible to say at this stage Manchester Utds dominance is coming to an end - clearly it's topical for the obvious wums, but anyone with any sense wont make such an assumption so early in ONE season.

I do truly believe that football like most things will naturally evolve. Things change and for various reasons periods of dominance come to an end. Liverpool is a prime example, and there's a strong possibility the next generation will look back at Utd's history, like the kids of today do about Liverpool.

But people like the Hoddle guy are either stupid or just purely wumming, because making an assumption this early is stupidity at it's finest. Perhaps comments should be made in three or four years time if Utd don't win a title in that time. Even if this is the case Utd in my eyes will always be a more respected club than the likes of City and Chelsea.

  12. I'm a wum, why? Because I don't agree with your blinkered view on things? Because I refuse to bury my head in the sand and pretend that City will keep on spending what ever it takes until they have smashed you into the ground? Because I have already woken up and smelt the coffee?

The only stupidity on display, here, is from United fans who continue to live in this hazy dream-world, where the only match that has any meaning is United v LFC, and where City do not exist.

    WAKE UP, SUNSHINE!

I'm not Utd fan so I'm offering an unbiased opinion.

Secondly - How can a Spurs fan come on to the Utd board and TELL them who their biggest rivals are? That young man is also stupidity at it's finest.

If you think United wont be competing for the next decade then please do us all a favour and invest in some rope, tie it round your neck and the railing on a bridge and proceed to chuck yourself off.

Im not I am merely making a suggestion :D.

Also if i supported a side who got smashed 5-1 at home by the same team and my club had 11 men all game I would probably just avoid discussing yesterdays game. Someone is bound to bring it up...

    oops.

The only reason I am banned from your board is because you cannot take the truth delivered in an unswerving, direct format.

    Your lot are truly pathetic!

Oh, and get used to looking up at us in the table, this season <ok>

We were doomed when Ince and Kanchelskis left as well weren't we? It was Blackburn who were going to dominate for decades in those days, I wonder what happened to them once their sugar daddy stopped bankrolling them?
