Once again, what players are still left from our relegation team? Lascelles, Dummett, Shelvey and Darlow, who were all decent back then.

I don't know enough about your team to have all the facts but you do keep making false statements.

They weren't dross back then though, they were playing well and hence they stayed after relegation. Refer to the previous list I gave you for what constituted the dross.

Cisse was incredible for the first 5 months after we signed him, then pretty dreadful for the next 4 years. Managed a whole 3 goals in the season we went down.

Howe thinks Lascelles is first choice, so your description of him being dross is just opinion, not fact.

It is hard to say the statement "Jamaal Lascelles used to be good but now he is bad" is a fact, because it is based on subjective opinion. One could cite that Chelsea were sniffing around him previously and now we'd be lucky to sell him to Slough Town as evidence, but you still can't prove it is a fact, cos someone could just say "no he wasn't" in response and there argument would be just as strong, ie its also an opinion.

Facts are facts when they can't be disputed, ie when I said Cisse scored 3 goals in his last season with us, that was a fact cos he DID score 3 goals.

 

I'd stay in large groups and no where near any tall buildings

If all you have are random opinions I don't see what value you have on here tbh.

- because you seem to think a subjective opinion can be classed as a fact
- because you were enquiring whether Wood would take the no 9 shirt despite Wilson already having it
- because you where questioning Woods Premier league scoring ability despite the fact he's been the clubs top scorer for the last 4 season with double figures in each season
- because you were making out Cisse's goal scoring ability was decent despite the fact he only scored 3 in his last season.
- because you were singing Fat Sam's praise with reference to him being England manager, when that experience led to him being a laughing stock

Great response Smug, the bit you added in to my post shows that as well as your point being wrong, you STILL don't understand the point I was making.

As this has degenerated into a lame battle of semantics bullshit I'm off now, I did think we may have been getting somewhere when you asked me what I thought the score against Watford would be, but you went straight back to "wah Lascelles plays more wah" and "dross this dross that".

 

As a Newcastle supporter you claimed Lascelles hardly ever plays these days ...
