See, this is why i have such a wide range of music i like. I love a great vocalist, great lyrics and good music so am covered by artists in most genres. I struggle with some though because even if the lyrics are good i can't tell what's being said through crap singers and the music is none existent.

Not mutually exclusive. You can like black singers and still be racist. Heck you can like black girls and still be racist. I have a friend who is a SBF and she has a thing for white guys... She's told me some pretty racist things white guys have told her whilst on a date with her. So you can even like black girls themselves and still be racist.
