With regard to the Allams and their tiny forward steps, even now they still manage to get in quite a few digs at the fans. Push the membership scheme but not telling anyone that tickets are available to buy on the match day, not making that buying process easy, the stewarding problems in the East stand, the food and drink regulations and trying to put the blame on up and coming EFL rules, the bird **** on the seats, the leaky roof. Little bits easily sorted but not, why? ask Ehab.
Another day. No doubt, another delay. This blokes got the patience of a Saint, or maybe the boots on the other foot. Who's ITK. Do tell.
Can’t wait for this perfect new world where every single thing the fans demand will be done. lets hope he listens to the right fans eh
Seen people suggesting if we don't go back to the badge that people associate with our first promotion to the PL they'll be upset. Perish the thought.
I would hope one of the things Acun will bring is increased sponsorship opportunities from Turkey which could open huge revenue streams for the club and could avoid the need to raise tickets for supporters.
trouble is with your statement Posters on here think it means you love the Allams they definitely need to go but I’m not going to get carried away with how great the proper football man acun is! Arf for every leicester owner there’s thirty **** ones
If he's so well known and popular in Turkey, and can get some lucrative companies to be our new shirt sponsor, or sleeve sponsor, or whatever else, we could bring in a lot of money through sponsorship that the Allams haven't been able to tap into. If we can use that to bring income into the club, there wouldn't be as pressing a need to raise ticket prices, and in fact having cheap tickets and filling the ground could end up more lucrative in the long run. From an FFP point of view, we can't just rack up huge losses from Acun throwing money around on signings, so need income coming into the club, and sponsorships could be a viable alternative to ticket prices going up. Heck, the sponsorship funds could even help get some cleaners in!
If we insist on going back to an old design (and really, there's no need other than nostalgia), this is probably my favourite: please log in to view this image
If the club themselves ran a business, say joining the housing rental market, could the income from that be used to supplement the club and remain within FFP? I can see something like that being a good way to build community links, and fund the club.
Don't think so, but I'm not an expert on FFP. It would also be a bit of a strange diversification for a football club I must admit. I would think/hope the sponsorship opportunities in Turkey would be a good source of income, as well as local businesses who would surely be much more keen to jump on board a club on the up.
