Well it isnt is it A lot didn’t stay and support and a lot will do the same again if they don’t like what the new owner does
Not bang on in my view. The Allams attempts to repair the problems of their making is nothing short of pathetic
The Allams have had so many opportunities where they could have begun to repair the damage but instead they dug their heels in deeper at each turn and dug forever deeper.
They changed the website, the crest, reduced prices in the membership scheme, restored Hull City across social media. I don't think it's fair to say they did NOTHING to repair the damage.
Not arguing the point, just don't agree with the notion that they did nothing and just dug in further. Really doesn't matter at this point though.
They did. So many opportunities they could have held their hands up and started making amends but it was always “businessmen this” and “lousy and irrelevant that”. For those acts to be considered legitimate attempts to repair the relationship with the fans they would have had to have been of their own doing, not forced by the governing bodies after every avenue of appeal had been exhausted. It’s a bit like saying a murderer is repentant after pleading not guilty because they’ve been found guilty by trial and sent to prison, and then appealed the decision, and then appealed the appeal. And then applied for a reduction in term due to a technicality. And then appealed the decision of that, and then appealed that appeal. Whilst all the while telling everyone and the media that their victim was common and lousy and irrelevant and deserved to die.
Sadly the owners (currently) had no interest in the fans themselves until the point when the drip feed of money from the Premier League dried up, they were then forced to reevaluate and try to bring us onside by reversing a number of petty and stupid ideas they thought could earn them more coin. As a football man, Ilaci will know that the supporters are the lifeblood of the club, and as such will with any common sense attempt to bring as many back onside as possible. I have a good feeling about this man, the sound bites he is giving out are a cross between Pearson and Robinson, with the emphasis being placed on the fans, and success for the club together. Sooner it happens the faster we will recover.
Btw my comment makes sense, it's just you who doesn't understand it. By the likes it got others understand it to. I won't lose any sleep about it. Moving on with life.
EFL dragging this out now arent they , have they lost their ink stamp or stapler?, ill send them one on next day delivery
