I would call it a fluke Rudiger misses the ball with the part of the body he is aiming to meet it with and it hits him and goes in , the keeper is at fault but it is incredibly lucky and fine margins in this they got lucky with the goal and with the Sanchez header which was far more controlled but drops the wrong of the post.

We don't deserve anything from the game but when the luck goes with better side too you really are done for.

BBC pundits discussing the wrong thing as usual. It isn't where the foul started that is the deciding factor it is if there was a foul inside the box at any point. I thought the replay showed Rudiger catching Hojbjerg bang on the line.

Yeah, we watched that. It would have been even more uncannily realistic had it been set in the UK with Boris as PM.

Utd lost to West Ham who lost to Spurs who look like losing to Chelsea. Get your money on the winners of Arsenal v Liverpool for this cup

Chavs are faster, more intent and more skilful than us.
But on the plus side....nope, no plus sides...

I’d be furious if that was given against us. Kane puts a bit too much on the ball and Lucas looks half a yard short of pace tonight.

Ultimately not good enough in the key moments, in defence or offence.

Kane should have passed it to Lo Celso, wrong choice

    Been there, got the T-shirt.
At least you got the decent manager when he was available.

Arguably yes, he’s in a much better position. Lucas was only ever going to be able to get off a first time shot, Gio could have passed or shot.

Movement and pace much better the last 5 minutes. Where has this been for the last game and a half?

There have to be 2 players between the striker and the goal, 1 is usually the keeper

To be fair he gave the goal and 2 penalties, not sure he could have done much more for us!
