Oh god! Barry Gardiner playing up to the camera accusing another MP of integrity… eer you mean the same Barry Gardiner who received money from a dodgy company? hypocrite ####
Do you think he believes anything he says? Starmer gave him an absolute pasting, everyone could see Johnson lying, squirming and spouting bullshit
Starmer started off well and then went flat. The final question discussing Hannah was the best placed one. I thought Boris batted away most and his final answer regarding how things are now will be received well. Did you notice the stare at the end to Starmer?
He just said ‘after a generation of neglect’. Remind us who has been in power for the last 12 years… he’s probably better speaking about pepper pig world
Yes, I did. You can see the Tory MP's cogitating over what to do. The problem for Boris is all the previous denials. It's made things a whole lot worse. He's the author of his own misfortunes on this, and Starmer is an irrelevance
It’s quite weird that the Labour benches are being rowdy when questions not mentioning the ‘party-gate’ are being asked? For them this is the be all and end all. Sorry to disappoint them but as another MP said earlier that “there are other things going on”. I also thought that rabble called the SNP were idiots by shouting out when the PM was making a statement. If they can’t behave they should stay in Scotland.
As ellers said....can kicked down the road! The excuse is that of a ten year old! How totally embarassing! Sounds like hes bunged sue gray a few quid
It’s about the governments inability to be held to the same standards they put on others, then lie and laugh about it.
Blimey some of these Labour MPs are going above and beyond the call of duty. the one I’m watching at the moment isn’t interested in the inquiry and he need to ‘resign’ followed by well placed water works. You will prolly find out at some point that they also broke rules?
That PM today insulted every single member of this country with his web of lies. Seriously, who would vote for a man like that to run the country? Lets hope more Tories have a sense of national pride, integrity and honesty and speak out against this corrupt charlatan. He is an absolute disgusting human being.
Did he really say that 'with hindsight' he should have called an end to the party that he didn't realise was a party and ordered people back indoors? Hindsight eh?
Sorry Ellers but that's a complete irrelevance at this moment in time, there not in power and don't have the serving Prime Minister. In my eyes 95% of all politicians are ****s irrelevant of which party they belong to. The crux of the matter is that the leader of the country broke the rules that he laid out for everyone else to follow , then has continually denied any knowledge of it. There was no remorse in his apology, and the fact is hes only made it because he's been caught not because he feels he's done anything wrong. Any tosser with an ounce of dignity would resign , but the truth is he should be facing the full weight of the law and a stint inside ! As long as he's in power, the tories grow weaker by the day. Starmer doesn't have to do anything, just let them implode and serve it to him on a platter. If the Tories are too weak to remove this lying maggot , then they will have to face the inevitable outcome.
Sort of agree but people need to know what we are going to replace the Tories with (if you want to get rid of them)? If the opposition is hopeless then people won’t vote for them. Putting Boris aside for a minute… when you look at what Labour has said and flip flopped since Boris has been PM, it isn’t very reassuring? When Starmer gets up and talks about ‘integrity’ I laugh because he was the one who wanted to take away my vote with a second referendum, my only voice I have in politics is my vote, and he wanted to take that away from me …and 17m others. Why would I trust or want to vote for him? The answer is I won’t and people will be reminded of that at the next GE… if he lasts. As for Boris, it’s the most humbled I have ever seen him. He apologised and if he gets on with running the country without all the fuss then people will move on. I get all the anti Tory lot who want him gone but for the rest of us, time will tell?
I disagree with the point you make about people moving on. This wont be forgotton and his piss poor childish excuse for his previous lies make him look even more weak and unreliable. Granted, you will get the nodding lap dog like Raab and co defending him but this is going to hurt the party big time.
