What did i say about a month ago, who are the groundsmen ? do they have any, watering the pitch before the game lol another Murray, Short at our club i am afraid sitting watching crap. This looks like the play offs all over again now.
Not slagging the player at all. I’ve stated I hope he goes on to be a success with us. Im frustrated with the investment, that’s all.
Here here Flanders, I cringe when I read some of the pap that our 'supporters ' come out with after we fail to win. Do they really expect to go undefeated all season, can't they take it on the chin and move on, I hate losing but some on here need to man up ffs.
They spent money on new lights NOT on the pitch itself. I'd imagine that will get sorted in the summer (if not before) Pitch was a disgrace but it was teh same for both teams. Last night was a shambles from min 1
Don't we have lots of pop events going on the grass this summer curtailing the time that can be given to sort it out?
First game we have played poorly in a long time and we have sack the manager shouts again, I'm logging off until the weekend
Aye. Might do the same. As frustrating as last night was (we looked off the boil from the first minute) you have to accept there will be bumps in the road. The cry babies who boo at the final whistle, or leave with 15 mins to go then jump on social media demanding we sack the manager thankfully do not represent the majority of us who see it for what it is and don't feel the need to start blaming a lack of investment etc etc I was more worried about Rory who sounded almost suicidal when he was doing that covid announcement towards the end
Did anyone notice the amount of water laying on the pitch midway between the centre circle nd the 18 yard line in the south end, nearest the dugouts? What is that all about?
True but do you stick to your principles and get beat, or do you adapt and try to find a different way. It was the same at Fratton Park. The players sulked because the pitch was so bad. Last night they were taking so many touches because they didn't trust their touch on that pitch. Maybe try something else because when we did go long (after the red card) we got some success - it could have easily been 2-2
The ball was definately getting slowed down by the water on our attacking right during the first half. I've often failed to understand the watering which goes on before the match, and last night there's no doubt it hampered us.
The people running our club need to do their job properly, it should be one of the first things they fix, our lads should be playing on a very good pitch, not a tattie field Also, surely the groundspeople should get the sack , it is up to them to prepare the surface Wycombe and Doncaster had very good pitches,it reflects really badly on our club
How can that happen ?, there was lots of talk by commentators about how soft the pitch looked in previous home games, all this talk about attention to detail seems to be just that if this is the case.
They only reseeded it apparently. Not the hybrid surface LJ wanted laying..... As far as I can see the lights are the same ones we have had for donkeys years. They store them over by the old Audi car dealership.
