Well I do like Lego, fewer things more therapeutic that putting together a big Lego kit. So if he has… let him off, it’s Johnson being a Johnson he’s doing his best.

There are May elections this year.
Think it is sink or swim time for Torys.

Get rid of...new broom, "it wasnt us gov" attitude"
    OR
Hang on in there.. "I got you through the pandemic and now it's all plain sailing".

Boris's ego won't go of his own accord ..
So I think we are stuck with him until May, when he will crash and burn...and be turffed out.

I hope I am wrong here

Johnson allegedly lying down in the back of his car to try and avoid the media <laugh> if that’s the case he wasn’t wearing his seatbelt properly… which is against the law

You are correct with local elections Beth. However I think it will more about Boris than the Tories. It’s normally a bashing for the incumbent government anyway. I think it will give the Tory backbenchers the answer they will want… is Boris still the man to win the next election?

I see Captain Isolate is managing to make PMQs? Shame he missed the budget and 2 important votes? Great timing!

So PMQ's should be lively today? Sir Self-Isolate has decided to show his face again (strangely he has returned quicker than the previous times)?

    So what should Bojo do?
He needs to come clean and apologise and tell the whole truth so another drip fed story doesn't show up before a future election. I cant believe he has been so naive... but saying that, I think that is just Boris.

Although the polls are at his lowest... they were before Christmas and were moving forward until 'PartyGate'. If he starts getting on with the business then people will start to move on. I remember being told Barnard Castle 'would bring the government down' and the story 'wouldn't go away'... people just make jokes about it now.
I would also ask a question about Labour?
Tom Harwood said today on the polls, that "Labour has lucked out'. It's not because anything they have done to change things, its because of Boris's stupidity. He is spot on, this is all Boris and he needs to sort it.

I now think he may survive this, especially with todays news that we are going to be the first country in the Northern hemisphere turning Covid from pandemic to endemic. Our roll-out and Booster campaigne is only second to Isreal accordeing to so professor on the news. Yesterday I noticed that our daily infections were down to 120K, which is still alot but dwarfed by France 364K (yesterday). WHO are saying in 2 months half the EU will be infected.

Boris was right not to close the country down at Christmas... so he can make good decisions at times (The Kranky and the Welsh bloke have been left with egg on their faces).
He just needs to cut out the party's at No 10

I agree he needs to come clean. All the obfuscating has to stop. The problem is, that approach has served him well in the past. I remember when there was an issue over a loud argument he and Carrie had at their flat - some neighbour alerted the Guardian. Boris just refused to talk about it, and sure enough, people lost interest.

This certainly won't happen here. So we want the truth, and that may or may not begin to heal things, although it won't if he's lied to Parliament in the previous weeks.

    It's going to be interesting....

If he comes clean then surely he has to resign or be forced to go??? Makes him look even more of a lying weasel than he is.

Yes I think Captain Hindsight knew all along about this party (that resignation line he said a while back). The whole thing has been carefully executed but Boris has been an idiot. as 'Super Unclean' said yesterday 'he can't hide'. I also think that they have other stuff on Boris which will come out today so he needs to get in first.
As well as Boris being under scrutiny... People are watching Captain Hindsights performance.

He lies to parliament constantly with impunity. This Speaker is the weakest I can remember.
