If we can move on 3 and bring in 3 even if we loan them back for the rest of the season, I'd consider that a success.

I think (and hope) Conte walks the second Levy or anyone else starts to go back on their word. It’s clear to anyone with half a brain that the squad needs reinforcements.

 

At least 2-3 are needed this window if the club wants to be in Europe next season.

Arranging some for the summer is fine but can’t forget the immediate future as well as the longer distance

 

The Toon have proven to those who always back Levy by maintaining how impossible it is to make some essential signings at an important time by doing exactly that for reasonable fees and it can be argued that both players were essential in the plans of their former clubs.

If you want to do it you get it done…ENIC/Levy are procrastinating because they are not driven to succeed with football matters

im hoping he’s given a simple instruction to just release it as soon as he approaches keepers box…we need a tank to run past the weekly 2 banks of 4…he can leave the rest to the likes of Sonny boy

 

He won’t have worked with a coach like Conte I’m remaining hopeful…ask me again first week of March

From Antonio Conte's presser today...

"With Paratici, I have the possibility to speak every day but to have the possibility to speak with our owner [Levy] was important. I like to have this type of relationship, to be honest and to always tell the truth. You know I don’t like to tell a good lie to keep a good relationship or to show me very soft or to be too polite. It was good to tell the truth and it was a good meeting.

Now for me it’s ok, I asked the club time to make my evaluation [of the squad]. The club asked after one month to have a meeting and I said no, I prefer to have another month to make the right evaluation. It’s honest, to give more time to me and also the players, to show me who deserves to stay here. Now the situation is very clear and I had this meeting, I was satisfied to have this conversation with the owner.

So, he's laid it all out to Levy (and Paratici). He wasn't very soft or too polite and the situation regarding the squad is very clear. Levy and Lewis have had their chat, Now, we wait to see what happens...
