Was going to ask the same thing.Must be, because im sure you wouldnt get 2 different people making the same ridiculous comment
I may be many things, ma'am, but I am not uninformed. Name me one group-winning horse from the last five years, who made their debut at Yarmouth?
Hmmm. Bullet Trained is no world-beater and Dubai Millennium was years ago. That's two from how many and you've got the cheek to call me uninformed. What nonsense!
Haven't the bock to check, but, you know, it is a popular venue for Newmarket trainers to give their young charges an introduction to racing, so it could be possible?....................
95% of the horses who run at Yarmouth are not very good. Why run him there, when he could run at Newmarket? We'll see who's 'uninformed' when he gets stuffed tomorrow. I bet he isn't even favourite.
None of us are saying he's going to win. We're saying that to suggest he's a rubbish horse simply because he is debuting at Yarmouth is ignorant, especially given that at least 2 very good Group 1 winning horses in the last five years have debuted there. Well at least I'm saying that anyway. Personally I'm reserving judgement on the horse until after tomorrow at the very least if not next year.
What a loser and how dare you call me ignorant. I'm entitled to my opinion and I'll be right more often than not, which is more than I can say for you.
Plenty of good horses make their debuts/win maidens at smaller tracks. Did you realise that 3 Breeders' Cup winners (Donativum, Ouija Board and Raven's Pass) all won their maidens at Yarmouth in recent years? Trainers send horses to where ever the suitable races are at the appropriate time. Remember they are looking for the right trip, the right ground, etc.
I'll also add, the reason he's not running at Newmarket is because there is no race for him! They made 2 entries for the horse this week, both in 1m maidens. There is no 1m maiden at Newmarket this weekend ergo he can't run at Newmarket!
I think Dancing Brave won a maiden at Yarmouth but I'm not sure if that was his first or second race.
