If that first bit is true then it is excellent news for us in the long term, as our rivals shoot themselves in the foot. Presuming we do see a decent bit of investment, then none of our rivals get any direct access to any of that money through players sales. English players who want a good pay day will run their contracts down and come to us for free and better wages than if there had been a fee. Perfect situation!

Agree on 0, not sure we'll get as many as 3 sadly. Feels very much like this season has relegation written all over it, just the way the universe works. But then we were going down before the takeover, so maybe we just need to make peace with it.
I made peace with this well before Xmas. Staying up this year after our start will be a bonus. Simple as that really.
I said exactly that earlier on, man! All I'm saying, right now, is I can't understand what Nickson has been doing, I can't see Hammond making a difference and the results/transfers indicate Howe isn't much cop either. I think the rest of the PL definitely has it in for us, even if just temporarily, and the rest of Europe is eyeing a cash cow, with players abroad concerned that we're really poor right now. Two years from now, none of them will be here - if KSA/PIF are serious about it. But I'm perfectly entitled to be pissed off at most of what's happened so far. TBH if I was the owners, I'd just scratch it all and turn to hopeful's and punts from South America or Germany, then turn all my attention to the board structure, commercial deals and training ground/facilities.
You have every entitlement to be pissed off if you see things as bad as you say. You and GG may well even get proved right in the long run. However, it's too early to write them off yet. It's like driving along on fumes trying to get to the petrol station, and the two people on the back seat keep saying "you'll never make it, you're going to run out, we're not going to get there." Yes, they might be proved right too - but if you keep going at least there won't be as far to ****ing walk later! For me, the best thing to do is to be supportive and trust them. Let January play out and see what happens.
