Just curious......How many people on here lose their **** with how many days it takes for a transfer to complete after contract is agreed on Footy Manager?
Pre takeover there were a LOT of flights from Nice, with people jumping on the “it must be Jim buying us” bandwagon. I can’t remember why, it’s something to do specifically with Radcliffe/Ineos but nowt to do with football. Don’t read anything into it at all. Look at Trippier. We’re doing nothing quietly. It’s not possible, because everyone wants to make more money out of us so real news will always escape: we just need better people than Hammond and Nickson so we get the deals done properly. Too late for this window. So unfortunately we’re going to be taking risks, as I don’t think anyone in the PL is going to let us have their players.
I think its got **** all to do with football mate. Jim Ratcliffe has so many fingers in so many pies. Why would the selling team need 2 planes to fly one player over or even 2 players if it was a double signing. Unless one was to go missing over channel and one can spot where it went
Just trigger the Wood release clause and do the deal, this is all we are left with in time for Saturday now. Needs must.

I think the club's given up. Nobody in England wants to sell to us, nobody abroad wants to come. It's the sort of thing that happens when you make a deeply underwhelming managerial appointment, then bring in a failed recruitment consultant to 'help'. Nickson must have died at some point of the last year or so, we probs just missed the memo, nothing else makes any sense with that bloke. Also turns out our budget is £50m a year, which is also slightly frustrating as it's not 1995 anymore.
