I don't want to be the next PSG, they have owners with horrendous human rights issues, I'd far rather we take our time and develop slowly and steadily and look forward to our class of 2022 sweeping all before them.

That being said there is slow and steady and there is us. There is no excuse 11 days into the window to not have completed a new 500,000 seater stadium.

It is a tough one. Buying in January is notoriously difficult and we are 19th in the league. The squad is crap but those coming in, who would improve us, might have second thoughts about wanting to join us. Then we have Lille playing silly beggars because they are, as is their right, applying a tax due to our supposed wealth. This will be a recurring theme sadly.

The owners have had time to get the infrastructure in place and it seems like they have fallen short. Although I think they might be adopting a longer term view rather than a short one and for me, relegation makes little to no difference to the end goal. I should be our final relegation (I hope!) for a very long time.
