I quite enjoyed that match - it was so bad. Really sloppy play from Man U throughout, Villa only slightly better.
Bit of a meh game. Refs making a mockery of var again. Concentrate so long checking if it’s an offside and then go rule it out for a block 5 seconds before the offside even happened Can’t see anyone being worried about drawing United in the cup after that
Doesn't really matter does it. If one oil doper doesn't hoover up the trophies the other usually does. It's only the odd bit of incompetence or luck that allows anyone else a second in the spotlight these days.
I said on our board, total smash n grab. Should have got hammered but didn't, the cup Gods are smiling on us
What did you Manc lads think about the atmosphere at the game tonight? There's a strange vibe at OT atm.
Think United have hit on a winning new formation, playing 4-2-3-1-1, with the ref in a free role, roaming around the pitch collecting his brown envelopes.
Got to commend them for it. They tried one thing, then another and most would give up at that point but the commitment shown by them to continue to push and find a 3rd way to rule out that goal has to be recognised. Was obviously listening to luke shaw when spoke about a lack of commitment and ref wanted to show that wasn’t the case. Ralph will be pleased.
in fairness when men like phil jones and Michael Olvier stand up to be counted it can only be good for the togetherness in the dressing room. If utd can flog off all the refs, sorry players who have a lack of commitment to the cause i'm sure they can get back into the europa league places for next year
ACON watch. Egypt 1 down to nigeria right now in probable group decider. salah is playing. Its a real pity some of the groups are really one sided. Its likely salah gets to last 16 no matter what. mane's group is as weak.
