I really haven't seen much the referee has got wrong. The Villa goal was offside. I don't think he's missed any yellows either TBH.
Shaw has broken up play with deliberate little fouls five or six times. Is this not a yellow card thing anymore?
Why is that funny? If he had been booked earlier he wouldn't have made that challenge he got booked for. Simple logic.
Or you could say he wouldn't have been able to make that challenge and the Villa player might have been through.
If Shaw had been booked earlier it would have changed the course of events. It's highly unlikely the same scenario would have occurred had he been booked earlier. It's ****ing common sense.
So you are saying it doesn't matter that the ref failed to book Shaw for persistent fouling as Shaw would never have made a dubious challenge again. I am baffled.
Isn’t is 3 United yellows to 1 Villa one ? Hardly giving Villa yellows for everything. Unless you meant biased against United ? But I assume you didn’t ?
And you have no concept of logic. Events very rarely would have played out the same way had things been different in the past. Shaw would have been more careful on a yellow and therefore it's logical to suggest he wouldn't have made the challenge he got booked for. Or he could have been subbed off.
@tomw24 I just find it confusing that you seem to acknowledge that the ref probably should have booked him earlier but don't acknowledge that an earlier booking makes any difference for a fullback (the most precarious of booking positions).
