Nah Cambridge beating Newcastle. Know they are **** but they’re a prem team playing strongest team possible at home. At least arsenal were playing some kids and away from home.
So Leicester v Everton is off on Tuesday, despite the fact they played yesterday. Wonder if everyone will go mental over that one
Newcastle were at home so it's a tight shout but it has to be newcastle despite them being ****e. Forest have improved a lot under their manager apparently and honestly arsenal were not doing much today
Perhaps we should take a leaf out of the Afcon rule book? Apparently you have to play if you have 11 players who can stand up - even if none of them is a 'keeper.
The problem I have is that the fa have again devalued their competition by saying they have to play mo matter what and any old 14 players Kids and women included The prem at least say 13 plus 1.
Not sure about that. Fa cup have scrapped replays because the teams don’t want the extra games. I think they’ve pretty much tried to make it so that games go ahead on time and they don’t have to reschedule fa cup games on a Friday before a Sunday kick off for example. Ehats devaluing the comp more. Saying you can play any 14 players or saying we’ll reschedule and make you play 3 games in 5 days because there’s no where else to fit it in before round 4?
They've scrapped them to fit other things in and ensure the stupid world cup timing is protected. I'm afraid that when theres serious snow or whatever we have always just.got in with it and not every.time have all ties been played prior to the next round kicking off.
No, they’ve scrapped it cos all the clubs asked them to. Why does everything have to be a conspiracy? I haven’t heard one club moan about having to play this weekend without the sufficient number of players so what are you actually complaining about?
Yeah but that's something that is verifiable and obvious to all, COVID isn't with so many false positives around. The fairest way of doing it is to include anyone who has been selected at least for the bench during a competitive first team game, this would include all cups and Euro games.
In fairness though a burnley for example use a small squad and would rarely if ever put kids on thier bench? A club in europe would however include kids for the club trained rule who are nowhere near good enough. Its not easy but in theory if you can play in premier league 2 then in theory you should be at least of some standard. The sad reality though is that level is pretty low compared to mens football in the league.
you could not make this stuff up. Barca have spent 46million or so on Torres but still cannot register the player as they still have not got rid of enough wages off the books with Coutinho "loan" so the bankrupt club buys a player on a 5 year contact and is seeking to bend the rules to register him rather than doing the right things. they are exposed with 1 more year of Coutinho 250k per week contract potentially and even if that was gone they still have not shed enough wages to balance the books. the club should be in administration to protect its debtors. it certainly should not be spending money. Uefa should be slapping a transfer ban on them to save them from themselves as the Spanish government clearly are not going to intervene and the spanish FA seem utterly unable to control things
It’s mental. They’ve been given a bank loan.. and they’re using it to buy more players and just increase their debt.
So, Sadio goes and scores the winner for Senegal in the 97th minute or something. Ffs man, we want you back here early, don't go winning things.
