So what you are staying is these organisations and individuals who have been dead for over 40 years are going unhindered unfettered?
it seems to me l people like you and ristac need to divert what is going on in this country right now by a certain cultural gang, , I find it disturbing that you and others on here would rather concentrate on something that allegedly happened years ago than what is actually happening right now

As a contemporary example what about the Catholic Church where the offences are being committed by the men actually preaching the word of god and not just people who happen to be of that religion. Where is the outrage on social media and here about the 1000's of children who have been and are being abused by this religious group. And then again what about the sports coaches, media personalities, musicians or model agencies. The list goes on, it's not just grooming gangs. They are all offenders and all should be subject to the law. I find it hypocritical that one can be rightly offended by a group of people abusing children in this way but not all similar offences, current and historic, committed against children.

I've got nothing to hide and I'll let others address the accusation you've made against them but I don't think that sort of innuendo is appropriate.

 

Is it not possible to be concerned and disgusted by both mate? Just because I think there were many a celebrity who slipped the net in the 70s and 80s it doesn’t mean I’m focussed on it. As Eric has pointed out, I’m equally disgusted in anyone.

Take Prince Andrew, he allegedly slept with a 17 year old, I’d hazard a guess at the time she might have been a bit more willing than she’s letting on. It’s not against the law to have sex with a 17 year old and I’ve read your comments on him, you don’t share the same feeling about Elvis who has done far worse. Me, I find both disturbing and I don’t allow myself to have a clouded judgement just because I like one and dislike the other, I’m not the one hiding under a pillow here.

I personally feel your last comment about “something to hide” is distasteful mate but I’m not going to fall out over it, I’m not even going to turn that around and ask what are Elvis supporters hiding or ask if they also buy Gary Glitter records

 

Eric is a bad wind up merchant twat who has it in for me since the harrogate one was banned. I have him on ignore because he continues to try and goad me and I'm not going to get banned because of him. It's not the first time that people have tried and failed to tarnish Elvis's reputation. But I'm only interested in his music and Ristac you talk of OLOF's comment being distateful, well I find your and others attack on a true music legend as distateful.

Sorry mate I’m just quoting what plenty have pointed out about him music legend or not. I’ve never liked his music myself but my father loved him and had loads of his records so I grew up hearing them along with Tammy Wynette and Johnny Cash, Shirley Bassey and a few more he liked to play.
