More talk of the Tanganga-Kulusevski swap, apparently we’ve offered €15m plus the player, Juve are seemingly keen but want a bit more dough in the deal. Milan are also interested in Japh. We’re trying to convince Milan to sell Kessie this January. We’re in talks with Wolves for Traore. A smaller rumour is we’re in for Cantwell (another player whose deal expires in the summer).
Not sure about Cantwell. He can play for sure but somewhat fragile. Probably worth a punt at a sensible price or leave until the summer. Norwich going down so may welcome cash now to reinvest for a Championship season.
I quite like him as a player, got a little bit of that swagger that Dele had back in 2015-2018. Not sure why he hasn’t played loads for Norwich this season, maybe because he hasn’t renewed his deal? But either way if we could get him for dirt cheap this window I wouldn’t be disappointed with it. There’s a good few I’d rather play him over here.
Yeah I quite like him too, he’s a bit cocky with it. Definitely would rather have him in the team than the likes of Bergwijn, Lo Celso or Ndombele
Another bonus is he’s HG too. Won’t make a huge difference this season now we’re out of the ECL but if we qualify for any tournament next season he’d come in quite handy for squad purposes, especially if Dele leaves.
Cantwell has made anti-Spurs comments in the past almost at Jack Wheelchair levels. I doubt that he would want to come unless it is for a wage well above one his ability warrants
He seems like a complete dick who thinks he is far better than he actually is. Rather like Jack Wheelchair, in fact.
Romano’s said we’ve decided to sell Bergwijn. Ajax have made a bid but nothing agreed. Other clubs interested.
Just another one that can't be relied upon, whenever we need him (like today) he is always injured. The sad thing for me is that we apparently want Adama, when you look back at how Bergwijn initially played under Jose, then I think he could be converted to a wing back, but he is never fit enough for that workload.
As I mentioned in the match thread, Alasdair Gold's flipped on Ndombele Given his track record of only going in on players or managers shortly before they're removed, the odds are the club's given him word to prepare the Narrative
