I'd be very surprised if we can't. It's your credit to spend how you like (ticket wise). If we go to this it's what I will do.
I got on eventually. I was at the back of the Kingsland, near the corner by the Chapel. I was living in Spain at the time so had to make a bit of an effort to be there. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/17795679
Forest v Leicester has to be the pick of the fourth round ties!! For me, Forest beating Arsenal surpasses Cambridge winning at Newcastle as the shock of the round.
Sorry, have to disagree. Cambridge, a League One team, went to a PL ground and won. Forest are a Championship side in good form at home. And Arsenal weren't at full strength. Kidderminster beating Reading also tops this game.
Was only 7 when we won the cup so that and the JPT (oh & Milan away) are probably my favourite memories as a Saints fan.
Total and utter joke that Leicester have got their midweek game called off. Appears to be mainly injuries and players gone to AFCON. Since when has this been valid? The game is shot. To top it off loads of their players were mingling at the Darts. Just dock points from anyone who wants a game called off.
Blimey, you’re only a nipper. I was behind the goal, in 1976, helping to suck the ball into the corner of the net. I was 20 then.
I was at the Winchester city v Totton match on Friday night which had 409 people watching the hosts fight out a 3-1 win against the high flying visitors. There have been comments made on line about how Winchester made Totton look ordinary but I think that this underestimated just how good the team from the west of Southampton were. Winchester were resolute in defence and struck the woodwork on numerous occasions yet I felt the match was extremely competitive and a fabulous advert for non-league football. One of the best games I have seen at Winchester for years.
It's a great local battle for promotion at the top of that league with Sholing also in the mix. I'd like to see the two Soton teams prevail with preferably Sholing as Champions. The Boatmen go to Winchester on Feb 1st, look out for Dan Mason Ian, he's a goal scoring machine!
