I used to drink a lot daily. Mainly to cope with stress as I can’t switch off. My brain is just on it all the time. It was affecting my health so I drink a lot less. I drink most days but not much. Just a little to relax the mind. If I have a bottle of white wine now I put sparkling water in it and it lasts me the whole evening and I’m still hydrated. Plus the missus has a glass. I’ve done that since working in a factory environment where we got tested randomly and I had to ensure I was never over the limit. So I worked out how many units I could have and then made sure I never went over it. I don’t miss the hangovers. I ain’t had one for years.
Tested randomly for booze? Thats ****ing barbaric and to think people complain of Saudi's Human Rights issues.
Yes because the factory had a drug and alcohol problem and most where operating heavy machinery. So you got randomly tested and statistically you would get picked once every 6 months.
The guys that drink and sniff coke on weekends and then roll on the through the week really do irritate me
Come on Chaos, lets not encourage bad habits. Lets get all the boys off the booze, get them in the gym and fit. What we have to think about is when we stay up, June-September is gonna be some session on the cans with all the signings.
Couldn't do coke now even if I wanted to. I reckon if I had it now I'd get **** all done the next day. I'd no longer be able to just get up and plough through that come down. **** that. Plus coke hasn't actually been coke for decades. **** knows what these younguns are shoving up their beak but it ain't coke.
Honestly the amount of times I've had people come over and sit next to me asking about how to get fit! I used to explain it and then the next day I'd see them with a pot noodle, so now I just save myself the bother, look them square in the eye and say "look you're not going to ****ing do it anyway so can I enjoy my dinner please?"
