I am not sure l would use the term 'unwavering' to describe Newcastle fans. Their behaviour towards Bruce and their comments since new owners has been sickening. Much as l dislike WHU, l utterly detest Newcastle at this time and feel sorry for Howe being in the position he finds himself (accepting he agreed to take the thankless job).
Okay, fair enough, in this one instance. But it does tend to be the way of things. Like I said, I'm not getting at any one in particular. It's just kind of funny.
No real surprise that, without Raphina and Bamford, Leeds have looked exceptionally impotent. No goal threat at all. But they shouldn't be 1-0 down. Should still be 0-0.
Couldn't agree more…. The unwavering support was referring to his bmth days more than anything… he’s a quiet man, always was the quiet and thinking footballer even as a younger player…. I shudder to think how much he’d be getting paid to be at the beck and call of the Saudi regimes sporting arm whilst at the baying hands of the fickle Geordie fans….
Although that great draw is slightly tempered by all the big boys avoiding each other. Shame. Arsenal (assuming they win) v Leicester was the best it got.
Wanted a home draw, can’t actually make it to the game edit. All the big teams at home! It always feels like Chelsea get drawn at home to a lowly team
Hopefully the club price this well with the aim of getting a full house. I'm sure Cov will sell their allocation.
