Danny Rose has been shown the exit door by Watford... If he's willing to take a hit on wages he could be a short term option with experience.... Though I'd rather not in truth
I'd rather have Danny La Rue. Rose can't defend to save his life. He forgets where he is on the pitch and gets caught out of position time and again. Ranieri hooked him off to save him embarrassment against Citeh about a month back ( I watched it) and I don't think he's featured since - he was terrible.
City's stance on loaners. No return for Murphy. Thank you God. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar
If he plays for Dijon, he must be the mustard!! Cardiff keen on Panzo Cardiff have opened talks with Dijon to sign England U21 centre-back Jonathan Panzo. QPR and Stoke are also interested in bringing the former Chelsea academy player back to England. Panzo joined Dijon from Monaco in 2020 and also spent time on loan at Cercle Brugge. He has five caps for England’s U21 side. From Sky transfer news page...
Not sure what to make of him. His only senior football has been in France, mostly in Ligue 2 for Dijon and not many games this season. Looks like one for next season when one or both of Flint or Morro will not be with us.
We looked at him before he went to France, must have been something about him as Robins decided against following it up.
Don't let this happen - this lad is very good and would be a useful addition to our matchday squad along with Denham. Apart from McGuinness, our CB options are starting to look very aged........ https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...ive-bristol-rovers-interested-signing-6460972
Good move for Connelly and us to see whether its worth offering him a new deal. Hes nowhere near getting a game with us.
Not necessarily. Barton's next court appearance is in March and he could well be looking at sharing a cell with Giggs.
At £10m would he be that great a loss. If, a big if, the majority was reinvested in the squad, we could become a much better team. Need to do it now so we can buy before the window end approaches. However, I can't see him fitting Bournemouth's style due to his lack of pace and mobility.
Couldn't agree more. Not a club I can see him settling into. He's very limited in his style and even with Wales he doesn't stand out. Nevertheless, a grafter and a nuisance for defenders. Not a game changer though and at £10m with clauses, I'd be taking the money.
Problem is, we're struggling for goals with him and generally even more so without him (he does help create space for others etc). Maybe we can sell him for £10 mill and tempt Bale in earlier than his Madrid contract termination on a short term deal?? Play Bale in a floating 10 type role and hopefully he can create for the likes of Collins, Watters and Harris... Food for thought.
I'd bite their hand off for £10M. Even if we didn't spend a penny other than funding a couple loans and banking the rest it would be worth it. Maybe Morison had some insight which would explain Watters coming home.
Only if there’s a proven replacement lined up. He’s pivotal to our team and would be a huge problem if not replaced adequately.
