fantastic game by the lads in this situation, but i will not take covid as an excuse it is avoidable injuries are not what the frig these players are doing to catch it is a shambles, mask, hand wash etc easy.

I haven't seen any vids. Just on Question.Patto comes charging out on the edge of the 18, Evans and their striker heading towards the keeper watching the ball over the top, all 3 collide on the edge or the box as patto kind of attempting a diving headder style clearance jumps above the over 2 but catches Evans on the back of his head with his knees. Hope this helps. lol

I thought Patto played well. Possibly a bit naive for the 2nd goal whereupon he should have kidney punched that player holding him but overall made some decent saves.

Been thinking about their goal and the commentary and it's got me knarked.

Since when was pinning the keeper a thing and legal? Is it one of these new things that I have missed?

Good game feels like loss ,but they don't stop and therefore always a chance they can claw a goal back. Its the first time I've seen Wycombe actually play without the ****housery and shows there is no need for it. Seems their fans are insulted at us lot not recognising a good game, but don't seem to get that once you have glorified and happily enjoyed playing anti football , it takes more than one game ..in fact quite a few seasons to get rid of the reputation.

At 2-2 they had a penalty shout that another referee might have given plus a chance we blocked and managed to clear.

    At 3-2 I felt we'd nicked it just a little ...

.... so when it finished level I wasn't too upset.

If we'd come back from 3-1 down we'd have been ecstatic, just look how they did a lap of honour at the end <laugh>

We picked up an away point but also stopped Wycombe taking two more home points.

I don't think they'll be feeling too pleased this morning, we drew but also showed them a glimpse of how football can be played.

Aye lot of ifs and buts.
Don't think the linesman or ref were in good positions for the infringement on our goalie.

Although what the fook drugs benno was on watching it back ? Cúnt needs to go to Specsavers.

Should we of played the game ? As a fuller squad to choose from could of been the difference.

We'll see at the end of season.

TBH Diamond played better than some of the games McGeady's played.

They were scared to tackle him which is saying quite a lot when it's Wycombe.

The linesman had a perfectly clear view of the possible offside incident in the picture I seen Nig, he was standing next to the corner flag looking along the goal line.
Not sure he could have spotted the foul from 25 yards away with the goal post in the way but nowt we can do about it now, roll on Tuesday and Lincoln.

There was a lot of Bodies/tussling going on, shouldn't of been a goal.

We carry on as you say :emoticon-0148-yes:

Really enjoyed the game yesterday, I thought we were fantastic considering the terrible way Wycombe play the game.

Stewart was obviously fantastic again yesterday. But the player who is continuingly standing out game after game is Pritchard, a fantastic piece of business by the club.

On the negative side of the coin, Flanagan was awful yesterday and cost us the game IMO. Continuously losing headers, diving in and had a clear hand to play in their 1st and 3rd goals.

If Bailey Wright was playing yesterday, we win the game, Flanagan cost us and he would be the first person I’d replace this transfer window.

I said the same thing have I missed a rule change. He wraps his arm around him and holds him down and the commntator said nothing wrong there and even said same thing after ht when everyone in studio said it was a foul.

If he said maybe the ref missed it then OK but to thunk it wasn't a foul ffs !

And clearly offside and interfering with play. The ref was ****e but sadly was far from the worse we have had this season. Sooner we can get out of this league the better
