I presume Newcastle had about five players picking up injuries, which contributed to that loss, and hence they will be looking to postpone their next match.
The gap from professional to non league is just as vast imo. Especially as they're not even in the National League but the tier below. Down to personal preference ultimately but non league to the top two divisions are always my favourites.
Started out on the Isle of Dogs, so most were dockers. Moved to Bermondsey in 1910 but the fans continue the tradition of being complete ****s.
Those scenes at Kidderminster is what makes the FA Cup special. And a massive **** off to those who think it's lost its magic.
Would be nice to not get a boring tie against another PL side or Championship like we normally seem to get. Whens the draw?
Regardless your thoughts on Howe, it is a little inconsistent to blame him (or Bruce) for Newcastle being sh*t, but when Saints are sh*t it's obviously because of the playing squad, and not the gaffer. This isn't aimed at you by the way, Libby. Or anyone in particular. Just saying.
Sadly, I think Howe is spectacularly out of his depth. He needs to grow into a club and the baptism of fire may finish him. He may still be successful, but he’s never had to be in charge of a large budget managing big egos or had anything but pretty much unwavering fan base support.
It was a quote lifted from the Newcastle forum on here. So Saints fans on here are not being inconsistent about that point
