I think this week will tell us a lot about where the owners see the club and their immediate plans for our future. If we don't make quick signings then I think they have accepted relegation over panic buying and have accepted it will be a more gradual building process.
I would just go spunk £75m on Vlahovic (their looking for £58m and want rid) and Alvarez (£17m release clause)
I actually wish we still had Mitro. His desire was always there and I think he would have done better under Howe than Rafa. He's not world class but he is better than we ever saw.
If he is we'd be better off putting in a cheaper bid for Mitro - he's done his settling and would probably get some goals. Enough goals? I'm not sure.
Or they have no idea what they are doing and are just rich kids with toys. Said it weeks ago that they are pissing about to much. Football moves fast. They are moving at snail pace. They should have got in a DOF and they should have had plans for players landing on day one of the transfer window.
His international record is amazing so it proves he can do it at the highest level. He was just raw when we got him.
Yup another player who the fans didn't like say treated like ****. Before signing for us he has roughly a 1 in 3 goal to game ratio. At his current club over 3 seasons he has a 1 in 3 goal to game ratio
Based solely on yesterday's game any striker would have scored. Based over the last 5 years however everyone can see it's the midfielders we need to replace. Obviously with a striker
It is exactly that.. We need to prepare for both events. Relegation isn't a the end of the world I don't mind that much
