We should have been out of sight before the sending off. Still had chances in the second half. If we lose this after extra time, we have created two bad outcomes. Out of the cup and knackered for Tuesday.

Here's a question for the referees amongst us: If (If?) it gets to penalties, and if (if?) ten players from each side have taken a penalty, who takes Saints' eleventh penalty? Can we just choose one of our ten players, or would the eleventh penalty be taken by Saints' first penalty taker?

I believe Swansea have to nominate a player to exclude to even it up.
