Just received this email from the Swans:

“This is a reminder that the Swans v Southampton fixture this Saturday is not included in our package for season ticket holders. Also due to broadcasting rights, this fixture will not be streamed on SwansTV to any supporters.

However supporters are able to watch the game at 5.30pm, on BBC One Wales and BT Sport Extra 4.

Additionally, full audio commentary will still be available via our official website and app, courtesy of our broadcast partners BBC Radio Wales. Commentary will be free to existing video and audio subscribers, so log in just before kick-off on the app or website.

The next home fixture will be Preston on January 22. We do not have any further information at the moment regarding future fixtures, however we advise fans to set up their streaming codes in readiness, should we remain behind closed doors.

We'd like to thank you once again for your continued support.”

Swansea v Southampton was the last game I watched at the Liberty.. I was on holiday at the time, couldn't be bothered to go to the Stoke game, I took my kids down to 3 Cliffs Bay instead, It was a far more enjoyable day there than at the Liberty. It's on BeIn Sports here in the Philippines, so hoping for a reverse score line to the last time I saw the Swans play Southampton.

I don’t care about the result, however I do want a positive performance and some good effort to get ready for the league to return.

Flynn Downes captains Swansea City in their FA Cup third-round tie against Southampton as Russell Martin’s side return to action.

The midfielder leads the side for the first time, while there are five changes from the last fixture against Nottingham Forest on December 11.

Brandon Cooper, Kyle Naughton, Liam Walsh, Liam Cullen and Michael Obafemi come into the side in place of Ben Cabango, Ethan Laird, Matt Grimes, Olivier Ntcham and Jamie Paterson.

Youngster Azeem Abdulai is among the substitutes for the hosts, as are Grimes and Ntcham.

Ben Hamer starts in goal, with Ryan Bennett, Downes and Cooper expected to line up in a three-man defence.

Naughton and Ryan Manning will be the wing-backs, while Walsh joins Korey Smith in the Swansea midfield.

Cullen and Joel Piroe will provide support for Obafemi as the striker faces his former club, with head coach Russell Martin having plenty of flexibility when it comes to the versatility of his line-up.

Swansea City: Ben Hamer; Ryan Bennett, Flynn Downes (captain), Brandon Cooper; Kyle Naughton, Korey Smith, Liam Walsh, Ryan Manning; Joel Piroe, Liam Cullen; Michael Obafemi.

Substitutes: Steven Benda, Jay Fulton, Matt Grimes, Olivier Ntcham, Yan Dhanda, Jake Bidwell, Dan Williams, Rhys Williams, Azeem Abdulai.

Southampton: Fraser Forster, Jack Stephens, Oriol Romeu, James Ward-Prowse (captain), Nathan Redmond, Romain Perraud, Stuart Armstrong, Armando Broja, Nathan Tella, Jan Bednarek, Yan Valery.

Substitutes: Willy Caballero, Lyanco Vojnovic, Shane Long, Adam Armstrong, Mohamed Elyounoussi, Ibrahima Diallo, Dynel Simeu, Kgaogelo Chauke, Kazeem Olaigbe.
