He should have dipped into our lower levels and played people in position. I think he was trying to squeeze in as many fit first teamers as he could. He isn't the first to do it for us, but I wish they would all just stop!
The thing is if we played the kids like i think we should have, we would have shrugged our shoulders and been like whatever. It's the fact we played such a strong team and lost which is damaging, this is going to knock already fragile confidence goimg into Watford. Howe has had a nightmare today. Howe picked the team, but it is the players who lost that game. No one played in a position they haven't played in before and should have sent Cambridge packing. The players deserve all the blame here. Willock needs confidence, Almiron needs to think more, and sending in endless crosses into the boxes without a player who can do something with them is stupid. If my Sunday league team can figure it out, Premier League players should be able to suss it out after 5 minutes. We need a leader on the pitch who can deliver a kick up the backside to the players. Howe deserves blame for the tactics as well. With that said, bring on next week.

If Bruce couldn';t motivate them, and Jones couldn't motivate them and Howe can't motivate them then maybe they should all be looking in the mirror! Wouldn't be surprised if some have realised they are on the way out and given up instead of fighting to be part of the project going forward
