Really? They're horrible to watch. Thankfully they didn't win their cup final and dropped two more home points.
Summed up well. Seems to admire us as a club and the way we play and is getting results with the way his teams play. I agree, his appearance is pikey-ish, but he seems a pretty good fella, who is honest in his assessment and sets his team up to play to their strengths. If we're talking ****houses, look no further than that fat bast*rd at Gillingham, Evans.
That's why people on here, including myself, dont like him. He might be a nice bloke off the pitch, but as a manager he's a **** house who encourages his players to be **** houses. Yes, he might be cutting his cloth according to what players he has available, but he's never tried to grow beyond that. Being a nice bloke doesn't exclude you from being a **** house manager, and vice versa. I've heard plenty of stories over the years of what a nice bloke Neil Warnock is away from football, yet I doubt many would disagree that he's one of the biggest **** house manages out there (and he's relished it and played up to it over the years).
Another very good performance - good first half, excellent second half. We always played on the front foot, which was good to see. We created loads of chances and had Evans, Embo and Gooch shown better control of the ball, we would've won at a canter. I said before the game that I thought we would sneak it but wouldn't be disappointed with a draw. The way things fanned on, I am a bit disappointed but proud of the Lads at the same time. We are playing like a promotion winning side, our home form is very good and we have already played Pompey, Sheff Wed, Rotherham and Wycombe away. Oxford, MK Dons, Plymouth, Wigan, Sheff Wed and Rotherham have all still got to play away at Wycombe so there will be a lot of dropped points there. Very proud of them today and our 1800+ fans who more than made themselves heard. On to Tuesday night and 3 more points.
But, but, but they've got billions Should shut that moronic kernt up, who was on here last night. Rotherham taken to extra time today is good news for us too.
Yep, I've no oroblem with the long balls, fair enough. It the ****housery that goes with it that I can't stand . But we looked really good in the second half. Very pleased with that effort, and another day we win it with a bit to spare.
Its only imho... but we need to replace Broadhead ASAP... heard nothing on the grapevine about an incoming strike partner for Stewart.
Yeah he looked decent. Think he could be a decent sub for rest of season but depends if he will develop more out on loan.
I was pig sick after the match, I’ve had time to think it over and I’m still pig sick! Before the game I would have took a point but to get that close to all 3 is gut wrenching. Lads done well considering and I’ve still got every faith in them, we have some decent fixtures coming up and with a few additions we should be ok.
Was gutted after the game to concede a goal at the death like that but now I've had a chance to think about it, a draw isn't that bad a result considering. We've hardly had a right back all season, the left back we bought only just came back into the side, we've had a serious injury list ALL season and top to it off just before the game, we lost 6 players to covid. To come so close to winning that game in spite of all that shows how good the coaching side and behind the scenes are at the moment. Hopefully we can add a few extra bodies to the squad in January and leave this league behind us
Yes I’m a believer , ball control let us down quite a few times , sorry to be on Gooch’s case again but again his potential is still yet unfulfilled and he frustrates the hell out of me . At this rate he will be unlikely to stay in the team.
