Thank God we have a game on Tuesday as I think I’d struggle to get over this so quick if the next game was a week away.

So proud of the players though, especially second half. We created some amazing chances and only a couple of poor touches and an amazing goal line clearance stopped us scoring 5 or 6. Embleton also hit the bar.

We’ve just dominated one of our big rivals for automatic promotion away from home and we were missing some big players again today. Get some of the lads back from injury and add a couple of quality signings and we will be a real force during the second half of the season.

Last season we would have lost that game. We should have won it, but there's the charm of football I guess

Wycombe are a minging club with ****house players

I gave the sofa a tap with my foot to remind it who's boss and the kids would have learned an interesting new word or two if they'd been around, but yeah same here. Fair result imo.

Great advert for League 1 today, when they went 2-1 up I would have took a point, but when we started to play in the second half, I thought we looked good value for a comfortable win. I don’t think their penalty shout was a penalty, I do think ours when Gooch should have gone down was more of a penalty.
Gutted the way it panned out, but they have both Wigan and Rotherham to play at their place so they will have a bit of a say in the final table.

Proud of them today. If I was in charge I would probably have been asking for postponement with both keepers out. Massive credit to them though, they kept the run going and in the second half could have been out of sight. I think that is actually a really good Wycombe side who look to me to be well coached, really well organised and who will run through brick walls for each other. To show we can play against teams like that, and still impose our game on them, is a really good sign.

Playing away against an awkward team that's a contender for automatic promotion, a ton of Covid cases, a recalled goalkeeper, and the effect on concentration of seeing Evans stretchered off, makes me think the lads deserve a big pat on the back for a job well done. My view is this it the type of result that will see us in the top 2 come the sharp end of the season. Can't see that Rotherham or Wigan will take much comfort from our performance either.

The reason Ainsworth has them all professional ****houses is that you can't play that type of football without it.

That's why it never ever works in the Prem, and seldom in the Championship as there are better and pull it up.

It was obvious by the size of Wycombes last two substitutes that the intention was to bulldoze an equaliser from set plays.

Wycomb would do well in American football the number of body blocks they put in.

Wolves I think it was. I say decent money, but, imo, he was a better player when he left than Marco was and he went for less

I think that will turn out to be a good point. Our attacking play was excellent. Play like that in our next 4 and it's 12 points imo. HTL.

he was on a yellow for an awful tackle on Stewart, then pulled Gooch back by the shirt and the ref bizarrely gave them the free kick.

Oh yeah. He realistically could’ve been sent off for the foul on Stewart. Didn’t realise it was him who pulled back Gooch!

Wycombe are always in with a chance when they keep launching endless high balls ...

... but we put on a great display for our support and for Sky.

But they play excellent football. The commentators said they got an unfair bad rap so it must be true….

3 games in a row we've done ourselves proud on tv. Been a while since that happened.
