so limited versatility, no good as rotation for meslier and he appears to have a good fitness record.

If Jed goes to you he will become a favourite very quickly and improve his game all round. He is a work horse and very quick, many times he has held our midfield together where as at Leeds he will be able to play his own game in his own position. Obviously I would want him to go now so we get some sort of fee for him rather than go for nothing at the end of the season, you are getting a bargain at £2m.
Wallace from Millwall seems a bit of a stretch, and anyway we only really find out who Leeds are after when they arrive at Elland Road to sign the paperwork ... Nandez is a no go, he will stay in Italy and go to a Chumps Lge club
The panic because other clubs are making signings needs to stop, be assured Bielsa's list will have been worked on for a couple of months now, but we're still a lot of money behind other Prem clubs and will only really start to see financial parity once we've been in Prem for five years ... Villa were still collecting serious parachute money while our swimming pool was being turned into a sandpit
Coutinho doesn't excite me, he's on a reported £300k a week and even if Villa are only paying half of that, it's still £600k a month spunked on a player who is out of form and nowhere near match fit ... he only took the move because he desperately needs to play if he's to have any chance of selection for the WC ... let's see how he copes with a Prem that's advanced since he left
Trippier is another, he's definitely not the best RB in England and won't be in the Prem ... no doubt he jumped at joining Toon at this late stage in his career for a big bump in wages ... the Prem is a different beast to La Liga or England, can't see him reviving Toon who need at least another ten signings of quality to stop their slide ... can't wait to see Leeds run Trippier ragged
Everton blowing £34m so far in January is proper desperation, they realise that relegation may be a possibility if they don't buck up and start winning more ... Gray and Townsend were hailed as world class players by some Leeds fans after their draw at our place, but where are they now? Fair weather players, inconsistent and showing why top clubs weren't in for them even though they were cheap
Bielsa will have identified who he may consider to add to the squad, Orta will be working on getting deals done but it's not that simple, particularly in January ... if you're trying to sign a player who is contributing to his current team and in form as well, the fee is going to be over the top ... a Coutinho or Trippier are easier as they're either not playing or reaching the end of their contracts, and their wages are going to be way above the Leeds threshold ... Bielsa won't easily bust the wage ceiling just because he wants a player, he values dressing room integrity too much
The FA Cup is a disaster, with most Championship and Prem clubs happy to field weakened teams and take the 3rd Round loss in order to preserve their players' fitness ... even clubs pushing for promotion or fighting relegation in Lges One & Two are prone to putting out weakened teams as they prioritise the league ... it makes a mockery of the 3rd Round being a brilliant round where small clubs have the opportunity to do a giant killing ... heck, when Leeds lost at Crawley nobody looked twice as it was clear Leeds hadn't sent anywhere near their best team, thus devaluing what should have been a superb day for Crawley
This is the reality, and if you ask Pompey/Wigan fans if they would swap their Cup runs from a few seasons ago for a place in the Prem I know what they'd say ... Citeh, Chelski and other Chumps Lge clubs have such huge squads that their "weakened" teams are still very capable of beating anybody, Leeds are not in the same bracket
I would love to see a strong team out at Sham, but I know I'll also be bricking it for any injuries knowing that if we took another big hit to our squad with the games we have coming up, it could be fatal ... I'd rather we hide our key players, and go for points at Sham and beat Toon at home ... the Toon game is massive, beating them will make things much easier and pile the pressure on them ... what a fkn mess this FA Cup has become

Billy you may have relevant points about other clubs spending on certain players, but that doesnt hide the fact that these clubs are putting everything on red. You may not like Trippier but he is the best RB in England and one of the best in Europe. The only 2 who come close are James at Chelsea but impetuous and Alexander Arnold who Southgate doesnt fancy. Coutinho may be out of form due to lack if game time, but any player who costs almost £150m is a wee bit better than whatshisnamefromMilwall.

We get a player back and 2 more fall out injured. Our season has been damaged by injuries and a small squad

Yes he is but when he has trained them, taught them new tactics and got them promoted the majority of them are still Championship players, better championship players but still championship players.
Probably the only ones I would exclude are Meslier, Kalvin and Rapha. The first two were young when Bielsa arrived and have progressed very well. Rapha was bought. Apart from that I haven't read of any PL clubs being linked to any of our championship players except perhaps Bamford. This I think gives a clear indication of how other PL teams rate them, "good but not really any better than what we've got". Liam is fine, I can see you're tying to WUM WJ though, naughty.
