Up there to keep with Phillips and Raphinha if we want to.progress and if we do progress I can see him staying as long as we want him.

It really is sad how much the FA Cup has been devalued by the Prem riches ... I believe that only the top three league places should go to Chumps Lge qualification, and the fourth spot should go to the winners of the FA Cup, or the runners-up if the winner has already qualified via top three ... this will focus the minds of clubs, with a potential £80m payday in Chumps Lge the reward for taking the FA Cup seriously

As it stands, for a club like Leeds and where we are in our development, a Cup run is an unwelcome addition to the fixture list ... not bothered who plays, just want no injuries and no progress ... rather have two weeks free during Cup weekends to work on things and allow players to recover from knocks and niggles ... once Leeds are established in the top four, then by all means have a go

Sorry but if you wait for us to be established we may never ever go on a cup run again. Having been brought up watching us go for everything I would much prefer us to have a go. I agree on the European place being a prize though. Winning breeds winning for me.

Unfortunately it's all about the money now. The reason so many obscure Chinese betting companies are shirt sponsors in the PL (including us) is so they get exposure to the 300 million Chinese who are addicted to the PL and the CL. Betting is banned in China so they have to find a way to get their name out there.
Macao is 7 times bigger for gambling than Vegas!
I also found out that the combined wealth of the PL owners is around 77bn. The new owners of Newcastle are worth 320bn!

Something in that sum doesn't quite add up, 320>77.

As betting is banned in China why are there companies promoting gambling to 300 million Chinese people who are addicted to something they can't do? or is it that the communist party of the peoples republic of china are turning a blind eye to what 20% of the population are addicted to? I'm not following your argument.

I accept that a lot of Asians gamble quite a lot but none of the gambling based shirt sponsors appear to be based in China

It was OK apart from, being pedantic again, I'm sure he said anagram instead of acronym when referring to Philippine Government agencies.

Cresswell and Shackleton wouldn’t get game time anyway, well they’re not first choices, admittedly maybe for a cup game but not a league game. Bamford is ahead of Roberts and Gelhardt and as for Cooper and Struijk some would say Koch and Llorente should be first choice. Honestly if Bielsa wants to go full strength we’re only missing Phillips and with Forshaw, Klich and Dallas performing well last time out would Rodrigo be starting or on the bench?

    Meslier
    Ayling
    Koch
    Llorente
    Firpo
    Dallas
    Forshaw
    Klich
    Bamford
    Raphinha
    James/Harrison

We can’t blame injuries this time…

Greenwood may get the nod to start up top before bringing Paddy on at half time?

I was thinking of the possibility of extra time if Bielsa feels 45 minutes is enough for him. Also they have a real proper warm up at the start, it’s just a bit different waiting until half time.

And this is Bielsa, he’ll stick to James as a striker if not Bamford you see <ok>
