When they appeared on TV with Bill Grundy and swore a person was so outraged that the smashed up their own TV , I wasn't much of a punk fan until that day
The thing about that interview is that, looking back, the Pistols came out of it looking so much better than Grundy did For the most obvious moment, Johnny mutters "****ing hell" under his breath at one of Grundy's asinine and just plain rude questions and realises he made a mistake, and when asked what he said says he swore and wants to move on - but Grundy insists proving what a Big Clever Man he is and pushes it, so of course it degenerated from there
And what has changed? TV never scrutinises and questions the blatant corruption and lies in politics, evident to us all every day, but if a so called subversive dares to utter a rude word..... You know, the kind of Anglo Saxon word TV companies drop into their dramas to make them seem edgy and remotely interesting
The interesting thing about that is that there's actually allowances for this Simon Pegg says this in the audio commentary on Spaced, where the first series they were allowed two ****s per episode (sometimes using both, sometimes using one, sometimes not bothering) while the second gave them 50% more **** usage and allowed them to use three You can certainly see similar with a lot of network TV dramas from the US (i.e. not HBO, Showtime or AMC, where they have characters saying **** while snorting a line of coke from between a prostitute's buttocks before going back to their day job of being an unlikable **** with no redeemable qualities who we're supposed to like because they're the leading character) where they have an allowance to say ****, for example in Suits they every single episode had two instances of saying ****, but being network TV they couldn't say they were going to take a **** or saying somebody had **** for brains and instead used non-controversial versions like saying a character who messed up **** the bed (this one was used every third episode), calling someone a piece of **** of having a ****-eating grin And if I haven't broken the swear filter, Dovak Djockhead is acting like a spoilt **** with his **** family also proving to be a bunch of ****s
He is a season ticket holder. And certainly has a position on my 'friend' Gunnersaurus https://www-cityam-com.cdn.ampproje...-backs-return-of-arsenal-mascot-gunnersaurus/
This, Ladies & Gentlemen, is the Attorney General of the UK. You know, the ultimate legal authority in the UK. The one who 1. refuses to name MPs of a society using public money to influence Government policy and, 2. Wants to 'refer to the Supreme Court' the Juries verdict in the Colson Statue case, in which she clearly has no idea of criminal law and in particular the lawful defences available under the 1971 Criminal Damage Act. I keep telling you that the UK is ****ed. One day you will believe me! (She should have stuck to 'Play School''' )
Absolutely astonishing the sheer bollox these people can stand in front of a camera and repeat lies over and over again
Because there is absolutely no comeback on them. For example...Johnson was proven to have lied 5 times in PMQ's this week and should be recalled to the HoC to apologise and correct the record. The Speaker does nothing, yet shuts down Opposition raising the issue. Your 'Democracy' is ****ed I fear!
If only they said they were protecting their families, then she'd be rushing to their defence... please log in to view this image
You can find a lot of them on the Wiki page, rather amusingly: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Research_Group They're all utter ****ers, which will surprise nobody. They're also funded by the CRC, who could be ****ing anybody, frankly. The Saudis, the Russians, the Chinese... who knows? Patriots, my arse.
Most are well enough known as they have barely hidden themselves away from any available media opportunity. All complete bellends, although I imagine Carlie Elphicke may now be an ex-member! It's the silent ones and the invisible funders that should be of the greatest concern. This 'Constitutional Research Council' are the power behind the throne and I would bet there are some dodgy International Libertarians influencing policy. On the surface just a bunch of RW Tory ****s. Scratch the surface and it's even more unpleasant.
