The fans deserved it though. The vast majority did not give him a chance. Again he was just calling them out. The problem was he should never have been here. The club should never have been run into the ground. The fans should never have been treat so badly that they could no longer find it within them to be objective. The good thing is its all done and dusted the moment Mike Ashley went.
It’s honestly brilliant where we are now. We can get so excited and happy and mistakes will be made but it’s not for want of trying. A new dawn.
Well given I've been saying we need a midfield ball winner and midfield ball player for 5 seasons, I think it probably would. Particularly being the most important aspect of a modern football team. Its criminal that we had people thinking Hayden was a decent option. Nothing against the lad, he has never given less than 100%. its not enough though, he was **** with the ball. I've had people quote stats at me to try and convince me. I don't need stats. I watch him regularly. He isn't good enough and never will be.
I agree. He’s a top championship player maybe at best. Hopefully he’s a back up player at best in the future. I can’t believe I am saying this but I think Shelvey might also do ok with two good energetic cm next to him. He’s never had the engine.
No he's **** too. The biggest issue with Shelvey is he is not a man you want to go into war with. He has a heart like split pea, goes missing when the chips are down, and is petulant as ****. He gets sent off because he thinks showing fans passion for the club is kicking someone. That's without getting into his laziness and the fact he's not as good with the ball as many think he is. I hope he is gone in the summer, and I hope we replace him this window.
He’s always been that way. But hell yes get rid. I’ve had enough of seeing him anyways. Let’s bring Hendrick into the conversation. He’s actually getting paid 40k a week.
I think it was more that the facts didn't need to be stated on the first place just say you're pleased to have a player of Willocks quality come in and leave all that other **** out, its depressing to read as fans cause we know its true
I know but the fans continually behaved like children. I was embarrassed by our fans and their inability to maintain dignity and stay in reality of the situation. So he probably felt the need to keep their feet on the ground. Plus it was probably a bit of disbelief that the club arsed themself at all given the previous 14 yrs. It was just another soundbite twisted by disgruntled fans. As I say I understand what its borne out of, but its not something I could subscribe to.
Owners have come in with money, they attend the games and genuinely seem interested in making a success of it. This could be the break that the fans deserve more than most.
French clubs are always such a pain in the ****ing arse. The chairmen always have a napoleon complex.
