This is really just a big thank-you to the Chelsea manager for selecting David Luiz. Clearly Villas-Boas thought that his inclusion would tip the balance in their favour by over-loading the midfield. Thankfully for us this arrogant evaluation of our Team's (and Luiz's) ability completely back-fired. Cheers pal!
How, exactly, did we put an arrogant evaluation on your team? You played piss poor football and couldn't string two passes together in the 2nd half against 9 men. Granted, Luiz has a ****e game but come on you didn't exactly win 3-0 socring on the end of silky football.
Well, by playing a centre-back who prefers to get forward at all opportunities in order to over-whelm the opposition, that's why. He could have played Ivanisevic (sic) or Alex at the back, both of whom would have offered a more solid defensive platform. Instead Villas-Boas went for the maverick style of Luiz because he judged that we were little or no threat to the centre of his defence.
You're right, we grubbed out a 1-0 by disrupting your tactics and upsetting your arrogant players on the pitch and most of all from the stands. Sorry if it wasn't pretty.
Drogs, do you think your Manager's only capable of thinking one game at a time? Or might have his selection mid-week been influenced by his attitude and approach to the weekend's game? Hence he saw an opportunity to play Luiz in the game where he felt he would make the most impact; well thankfully he did, but not in the manner envisaged by Villas-Boas
Give it a rest, Droggie. It's getting tiresome now. Unless, of course, you want to go on record as accusing QPR and Chris Foy of acting in collusion, something I'm sure that legal teams for both parties would be interested in. Disagree with the ref if you must, however the simple fact is that your own team's indiscipline led to your demise yesterday. I'd love to say it was our tactics, but it wasn't - Chelsea simply imploded, and your manager then overstepped the mark in his comments about the officials. And don't get me started on JT's little rant. Give up yesterday as a bad day at the office and get on with your season. That's what we had to do after the Fulham game, and it's what you ought to do now.
Yes, he did rather didn't he. He singularly failed to respond to the theatrical tantrums from Terry, Lampard, Villa-Boas and others which were basically saying "We are Chelsea. We paid enough to win this league. Why won't you let us?" That normally works against the smaller clubs doesn't it? If the PL has any sense they will sack Foy immediately and take on some more lackeys.
Not at all, I just think Foy has some sort of vendetta against our club. I'll agree, Drogba was a very big twat for what he did and that is indiscipline at it's very finest, but Bosingwa - no no no. To your final point - You were correctly dismantled by Fulham because you played awful. We were the better team on the day and lost because of a flakey penalty decision. Frightening thing is, you all actually seem to think you deserved a win yesterday. I'm not saying we deserved one too as some of our players played badly BUT we did not deserve to lose the way we did.
To be honest i felt we played a big part yesterday as the atmosphere was on fire, I have never heard boos for a team that loud that it drowns out the team being read out. 10/10 and a big pat on our backs as it worked a blinder.
Not petulance, just stating a fact. And if that's not the point you're trying to make, I'm struggling to understand what your point actually is........
So what can we do to drown out Drogs' b*tching? For some reason he actually thinks he's making us all feel worse about yesterday's fine victory.
